Govt waives tuition fees for students injured during uprising

The government has decided to waive tuition and fees for all students from government and private schools, colleges, madrasas, technical institutes, and universities who were injured during the mass uprising.

A notification was issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education regarding this matter on Tuesday.

The notification states that the government will waive tuition and fees for students from secondary to university levels (including all government and private institutions) who were injured during the mass uprising in July and August.

Injured students must submit an application to the head of their respective educational institutions along with medical documentation of their injuries. The authorities of the educational institutions will promptly verify these applications and arrange for the waiver of tuition and fees.

The notification further instructs all relevant educational institutions to take the necessary measures to implement this decision immediately.
